'the escapist'jenn porreca is a SF artist who makes incredible narrative paintings featuring beautiful, raven haired ladies often set in nature. Favorite facts about Jenn: she's self taught. she is an amazing researcher so all of her works are steeped in personal myth and interests; illuminated by specific artists, writers or even a specific painting. i had the pleasure of seeing her work in person this summer in brooklyn and realized that there were secret messages carved into the paint......another little nuance that makes her work so special. check out her blog for more.
