wild fox always appears to be a mixed bag for my personal aesthetics, but i've been captured by their recent 'star crossed lovers' lookbook and collection. i feel part of my interest in catholic imagery, more specifically daggered sacred hearts, was cemented (alongside with a grandmother who used to take me to visit supernatural sites where the virgin appeared in clouds when i was little) by baz luhrmann's 90's version of romeo & juliet. this lookbook successfully pays homage to it, & i'll always be a sucker for anything that happily rekindles the nostalgia of my youth.
