brandi milne has a new show up at thinkspace gallery. her color palette is more earthy toned than usual and the animal/food/ghostly characters have a lovely nostalgic/creepy feel to them. the work as a whole reminds me of vintage advertising with camille rose garcia influence. some of the paintings were created on antique book covers, further illuminating the vintage feel of the show. as always, i'm a big fan on conjoined twins and love the text in this piece. check out the rest of the show here.xoxo
