the winter is hard for me & i know i am not alone in this. in some way i find that spanish artist lola guerrera's work speaks to this inner battling. she wraps everything in her apartment up in clean white paper before taking photographs of it. the results are these shots that make me feel cold, lonely and odd, just like how winter does.
I have the same problem that you have- except mine comes in the summer. The blinding, forceful light of Australia's heat makes me feel set-upon and attacked- I can literally feel the sun eating my skin with it's heat.
Maybe we should swap- the winter fills me with vitality- I can't wait till it comes!
