although i tend to be drawn to work that has a tighter painting technique, i just love the looseness / movement in ca artist joshua petker's work. it seems that he has tightened up his female form; before there was smudged lipstick and wild hair, now there are 50's style dresses and tightly coifed tresses. every reckless lady grows up. well, at least on the outside......
