metal ribs & news.

Photobucket

artist jessica joslin has been steadily wowing even the most jaded audiences with her unique assemblages of bone, metal and other antique bits. i recently had the honor to ask her some questions and was thrilled with her in-depth responses. take a peek over at hi-fructose for the full interview here

for any philly folks, this first friday she'll be showing a few new pieces in the show 'old souls' at wexler gallery, curated by the lovely sienna freeman. . . hope to see you there! i'll also be stopping by part time studios to see jeremy hush's new work & kris chau will also have a show up at reward project. big night for my favorite philly artists . . .

xo

also, the bloodmilk shoppe is re-opened after an unexpected trip down south, once i'm settled i'll be adding more of my new collection to it as well as many many new black blood pieces. for those of you who are waiting on an order, i'll be working overtime to catch up, & i thank you for your kind patience. if you need to contact me directly, my email is jlschnabel@gmail.com.

& tomorrow i'll be announcing an exciting giveaway in collaboration with fictionist stacey levine . . .i've been so excited & tightlipped about this for so long, i can't wait to share the details!
