the 'belonging to the darkness' ring is based on an idea i had concerning the balance between love and darkness a while ago and which i was able to put into practice here last year for an awesome local couple before i released it in this incarnation.
based on the myth of persephone, who was stolen to the underworld to live as the queen of it, these 'engagement rings' are meant to symbolize a stand you have taken, an act of showing your commitment or belonging. whether this is to be to another person, ( i've always imagined this ring as being a perfect "alternative" engagement ring) or to an idea you hold dear, or perhaps even a declaration of belonging to yourself.

I really love the idea and vision you put into this ring. I think we probably all need a little reminder to value ourselves and that we are worth putting dedication into who we are. It's really a beautiful piece!
