this necklace is very special to me & what i consider to be the crown jewel of all my new pieces, some listed, some yet to come. i hope it will be just as meangiful to the handful of people who might one day own its double.

lily dale forever.
today and the next few days marks a year since i pilgrimaged to lily dale to seek the guidance of a medium, heavy with the hope for a message from the other side and curious to see what a true victorian spiritualist community consisted of. though i can't exactly say why or how, the trip changed me. these two pieces illustrate my interest in both supernatural occurrences as well as my interest in being able to communicate with the unconsious. both realms are uncharted, fascinating and hard to reach. i've been holding onto these lovely pieces for a while now, and am happy to release them now, during a time that's been so poignant for me. a ring is forthcoming, stay tuned.

the first time i met an ex's mother, she told me never to marry a man with a dagger tattoo. what an odd thing to say at the time. she was a bit psychic and it's a bit odd that now i am married to a man who has not one, but two dagger tattoos. ;)

forever in mind.
nothing cures weeks of a strange illness (or comes close to anyway) than surrealism and the victorian supernatural. these max ernst collages mean so much to me; (as of note, one of my favorite ones by him is included in all of my branding). the bat wings, the heavy victorian gowns, the bowler hats . . . the strange, suffocating rooms, filled with wreckage and unplumbed emotions. i've been bloodletting in the shoppe the last few hours and somehow I still have many more curious new pieces to unveil. but for now its off to bed to dream of max ernst tattoos . . .

fresh blood for the lunar eclipse.
i've been saving this piece, forget me not, to unveil tonight, in honor of the lunar eclipse during the winter solstice. this bracelet is made from a cast snake rib bone, waxed together forming conjoined twins. it's also a companion piece to my show that debuted in october, darker, my love, as a nod to beetlejuice as a metaphor for those we've lost and don't want to forget.
