russian darlings.

this past saturday i had a chance to pop over to sloan fine art in nyc to see the new jonathan viner solo show. the show featured a harem of plugged in nudes in his signature muted color palette. here the women were less stylized than in the past and seemed to be caught in a restful moment while older works seemed to focus on unfolding actions. i wrote a review of it over at fecal face.

i was super thrilled to go see the amazing show, 'shadowless summer' of the multi-talented artist Liz McGrath in NYC a couple weeks ago at Sloan Fine Art. its really amazing to see all her critters in person, so much detail is put into into each one. i wrote a nifty little review of it over here at fecalface.com.
