these drawings by aubrey learner make me want to bury my hands in dark soil. i'm especially interested in the tension of the sensual things we want against our body, the ribbons, the chamise, & the grotesque, yet intensely beautiful inclusion of the dark beetles & winged cicadas that make up these garments.
