oh chelsea wolfe. i've written so many times here about how her music is a spell that intoxicates me with its mix of witchery and intensity. she recently played philly the same weekend her new 'flatlands video' (see above) was released and i had the opportunity to see her play in the side chapel of a beautiful, olde ornate unitarian church here right around the corner from the mutter museum. take a peek at her refinery 29 interview here where she wears the blood milk 'as above, so below' snake rib cross. 

unknown rooms.

if bloodmilk had a soundtrack, it would be anything that comes from chelsea wolfe's mouth/heart/brain. i know i post about her a lot here; i promise i do listen to other music (obsessed with this krautrock mix latey on 8 tracks.) chelsea released info on her new acoustic album 'unknown rooms' today, including a pre-order for the cd / vinyl here.  in the meantime, le city kitty has 'appalachia' streaming here, 'flatlands' here &  'the way we used to' here. 

as for me, i'll be releasing some new jewels in honor of autumn this month.

lately i've been obsessed with chelsea wolfe (pictured above) thanks to audra. if you haven't heard her music, i strongly recommend it.
