natalia fabia is an L.A artist who i've been watching for a while now. her new show 'hooker dreamscape' just opened at Corey Helford gallery and includes escapist paintings of 'hookers' in various stages of comfort and camaraderie. these new works represent a bit of a departure for natalia, at the youngish age of 25, her painting skills have really evolved to a nearly hyper realistic state. Infused with elements of colorful, playful fashion (with the inclusion of her own handmade jewelry on the subjects) and the explorations of positive relationships between women, each piece resonates with the young modern woman who is unafraid to succeed and express herself within her own 'dreamscape.'
