i just don't know about this editorial in the march german vogue. although, i have been digging karl's risks lately. his minnie mouse hair was rad. but while this site only moonlights as a fashion site, i must say that claudia schiffer as frida kahlo must be making her turn in her grave. or not. she was one for a good grotesque shock.

hmmm, me too.isn't it ALMOST like blacking up- taking on another ethnicity's characteristics?not very PC, though am probably over analysing.Just thinking of all the hispanic models who could have done this better- but maybe im missing the point. one can only hope!

The pictures themselves are lovely...but, yeah, Claudia was an odd choice to say the least.
I feel like i could think of about a billion people who could do Frida better than Claudia Schiffer.

I see what you guys mean, but remember that Frida herself was half German! I bet she'd be smiling at the irony and humor here.
