ghoul next door has added (with my permission) some bloodmilk into her polyvore collages. i'm really interested in the way she composes outfits around antique art & dark themes. polyvore reminds me a bit of this toy 'fashion plates' i had when i was a kid & a more intense version of window shopping. i know there's a bit of controversy over the site, but it inspires me & helps me get over my retail lust a bit.
xo.

I love Polyvore- I've heard controversy over and over about it but really, in the whole time I've used it I've never found anything that doesn't have a direct credit source to it. I've discovered so many great designers this way too. I don't see anything wrong with it.
Oh yes! I had the fashion plates too :) And I do find that it quells part of the urge to shop...unfortunately, it turns out that I have very expensive tastes and I couldn't afford anything I fall in love with, anyhow.
Although, I have found a few wonderful niche shops through polyvore...and just like any other online community, like attracts like - and so I have met some wonderful ladies through there as well.
So, yes, you would probably become a bit addicted, but I think you'd be glad you did!
Thanks again for allowing me to work with your things...I've got a few more ideas, as well!
These layouts are absolutely dazzling and show off the creative genius of both of your minds combined.
thanks for the comment...i'll have some of the black crystal rings in my shop really soon. i'll give you a comment when i do!
