have you heard about the new theories on the multiverse? i'm always simultaneously terrified and thrilled when bits of sci-fi creep over into science. the idea of a multiverse, a series of parallel universes in which we each may be leading different lives within the same body/mind/spirit freaks me out & intrigues me....
these manipulated / distorted collages by lola dupré remind me of this theory, the idea of being fragmented, an 'other' to yourself while still retaining recognizable marks & features . . . .
