rose moon give a way.

Untitled

in honor of this month's beautiful rose full moon, & as a way to say thanks for all the kind words and support i've gotten recently, i've decided to give a way one mini planchette necklace in sterling silver. this small gem is half the size of the original planchette necklace and comes also comes with a tiny viewfinder set into the planchette. when i originally created this piece, i was thinking of how the planchette as a symbol explores the strange notion of speaking with the dead, and in a way also, speaking with the unseen and unexplored parts of yourself. i never imagined how many people would love this image as much as i do and i like thinking of all of you out there wearing my version of it.

to enter to win one of these little lovelies, leave a comment to this post, even if it's just to say hi! be sure to leave your email so i can reach you should lady luck fortune you !

one winner will be chose on june 13th.

this is open to international readers as well.

please only comment once and be aware that i have to moderate my comments (i get so much spam comments!), so it will not show up automatically.

thank you, always.

would be so happy to be able to wear it 24/7.

In the silvery night she let out one last wailing scream,
Before she crumbled before the moon & swooned,
The moon absorbed all her tears & fetched her on a moonbeam, you can see her crying figure once in a year
On the rose moon - taken from 'the rose moon of june' by Renu Rakheja , tranquil ocean ..
This poem is about the little mermaid & I thought it would be fitting as my entry For the mini planchette because of the release of your sea witch collection :)
I adore your pieces :)

Hi! Beautiful work and mysterious posts. This is one of the most inspirational blogs for me as an artist.

I have a story to share~
When I was little, I tried taking the "family" Ouija board to elementary school (I also watched way too many Stephen King movies at a young age, so it was a fascination)... with repeated no's from my mother I managed to just barely hide it in my backpack, with actually a corner of it sticking out. I remember my mothers face was scornful as I got on the bus. I proceeded to take it out in the coat room and share with my 3rd grade friends. The planchette moved, but I'm certain it was because one of my squealing girl friends was pushing it and trying to trick us.
Story ends with the teacher calling he principle on me, to take me outside the classroom and tell me they are not allowed in school. I was baffled, and did not see the harm in it, even knowing what the purpose of the Ouija was. But... it was a very big deal to see the principle at such a young age over something taboo.

That's my Ouija board story =)
I explore ghosts and projections of my life through my artwork. Horror, symbolism and mystery all speak to my inner child.

Thank you for this opportunity to receive your gorgeous little planchette.

i absolutely love your designs, it is so inspiring to see that you design, hand make, box and ship all of your orders personally. i have been following your work for a while and am hoping that one day i can afford to buy my own, but for now i hope that you see this comment and understand how much we all appreciate your hard work and thank you for spreading your magic around the globe! you've earned all the success and love you get! x
